For Valentine's Day skip the candy aisle and make these heart healthy beauty bites for the ones you love. Nuts are a source of healthy fats that include nutrients, antioxidants, fiber and may be beneficial for heart health. The collagen supports healthy and vibrant, hair, skin and nails. Dipped in chocolate they're the perfect dessert to keep cravings at bay.
1 c coconut oil, melted
1 c nut butter
2 scoops vanilla or chocolate protein powder
2 stick packs Elaine Wellness Collagen
Optional: Chocolate for chocolate covered
Blend the ingredients together and pour into silicone ice cube trays and freeze!
Optional: melt desired amount of chocolate over a double boiler or in a glass bowl in the microwave in 30 second intervals. Dip the frozen bites into the chocolate or drizzle it over them and re- freeze to harden.
